With the Caps winning the Cup, DC ended their title drought going back to Jan 92.

Buffalo: Dec 65 (AFL, before the Super Bowls)
Milwaukee: 71
Charlotte: NA
Cincinnati: Oct 90
Minneapolis/St Paul: Oct 91
Toronto: Oct 93
Atlanta: Oct 95
Phoenix: Nov 01

Forgot about Nashville. They've only had a team since the late 90s.

Brewers and Diamondbacks are both in the playoff picture this season. I'd go with Phoenix/AZ.

Vikings and Wild have a slim chance of winning in the next 3 years.

Atlanta United is one of the best MLS teams in the country in only their 2nd year. Wouldn't surprise me at all for them to break the drought.

I'd def put money on Toronto - Leafs are a good team right now and definitely will be in the hunt out of the east for the next 5 years. Wouldn't surprise me to see them with the cup in a couple of years.

Maybe take it up with the OP since "pro teams" was the only qualification.

I mean compared to the other cities on the list, they probably do have the best shot.

Pretty sure it was understood that MLS didn't count just like nobody counts WNBA titles or Rugby championships or Arena Football championships, etc.

People probably said the same thing about the Cubs and Stros in 2014 and here we are. Braves are in a similar spot as far as how stacked they are with young talent

Braves are having a year similar to the Astros in 2015
