The last six years at least one seed seven or higher has made the final four. Which teams have the best shot this year?
9 UCF
12 Liberty
10 Minnesota
9 Oklahoma
12 Oregon
13 UC Irvine
10 Iowa
9 Baylor
11 Ohio State
7 Wofford
9 Washington
12 Murray State
10 Florida

I’d say Wofford and Oregon have the best chance

Murray State for obvious reasons.

I think Oregon or Oklahoma simply because their path to the final 4 goes through Virginia.

Oregon and OU don’t match up well with UVA (assuming UVA has gotten over that 16 seed madness).

I’d say if Murray State beats FSU, they will win that region IMO.

I don’t think any of them do, but Murray State has the most potential.

Murray State isn’t beating Gonzaga, in my opinion.

12 Oregon

Considering they were just there two years ago and are playing elite defense in the past 2-3 weeks.
They'll need to knock off Virginia though

That seems like the hardest path to be honest. VT could knock off Duke, FSU could knock off Zaga. It easiest to not face a #1 seed and that's what they would have to do.

None of them. Teams at the top are just too good this year.

Yeah the easiest theoretical path is for an 11. They avoid playing the top 2 seeds in the Round of 32 and the top seed in the Sweet 16. And if things fall in place, they will play a 4 or 5 in the Elite 8.

Beating a 6, 3, 2/7, and 4/5 is certainly doable.

It is less likely to happen this year, than in recent years.

That said, you look for a few things- a decent 3 point shooting team that has an NBA lottery pick. Murray is the one that stands out from the crowd.

Florida or Oregon though a Murray State run would be so incredible.

Expecting Morant to sustain the level of play he brought in rd 1 is just foolish. Even if he can come close to replicating it once or even twice, doing it three more times in a row is what Murray St would need and that’s just highly unlikely. I’d actually put Murray State closer to the bottom of the list because of how special Morant would need to be. I’m cheering hard for them though.

Kenny the jet and sir Charles both pick fsu to final 4.

Getting to final four depends on your opposition.

If you need Murray to take out fsu and then the #1 too, you Are losing your bracket man.

Actually, he's going to have to do even more but cowart won't get a shot off vs 7' 4" fsu center.
The Alabama game was about the inside players of bama vs cowart and Williams.
It will be worse vs fsu.

Murray needs brown and buchanon to hit high percentage from 3.
That's it, really.
And cowart make ft's. Lol.

Is say out of those teams Oregon. I don't have Murray State beating Florida State but if they do, they'll be in the Final Four.

People are seriously underestimating Gonzaga. They lose to Gonzaga by 15+ imo
