No they couldn’t.

An extreme small percent of the human population has the discipline to be one of the greatest ever in any profession

The vast vast vast majority will be content with simply being great and extremely rich.

Most people who make 9 figures are the greatest in any profession and have the drive to do that. Not having institutional wealth and being lazy. Actually making 9 figures.

You could give 99.99% of the world an open checkbook and they wouldn’t have the discipline to do what it takes to try and become the greatest

It’s crazy to say “most people could do it” and the only thing stopping them is money and a team.

You’re not arguing what I’m arguing, LUNCHBOX. You’ve created a separate hypothesis from my original hypothesis.

I thought the statement was

The average person couldn’t handle the protocol of what an an all time great athlete does, and you said with money and a team most people could?

Is that not it?

It’s not. I said anyone who makes 9 figures. Not anyone who has 9 figures. You have to have drive and ambition to make 9 figures.

Back to the basement with you.

Oh really? You responded this to a comment where he said “the AVERAGE person”

quote:

Most people could if they made 9 figures

So what you really meant was “people that have the drive and capability to make 9 figures could”

Got it

Because leading with”most people” like you said, is going to make most people think you are actually saying most people could do it

You’ve taken one too many Covid boosters to the brain. Thanks for agreeing with my original statement.

"Most people" could do the thing that no one in the history of planet Earth has done like Lebron...

Makes sense...

Jordan had the best peak, but Lebron had the best career.

It's the same comparison as The Office vs Parks and Rec. The Office had higher peaks but the final years were embarrassing. P&R stayed high at a level and consistency that is hard to sustain through the end.

Jordan > Lebrun

The fact that folks can't help themselves but turn every LeBron topic into a LeBron vs. Jordan topic is all the evidence we need that LeBron has become a truly legendary player. I remember the days not so far in the past when Kobe fans were relentless in their Kobe > LeBron arguments. Or if you go a bit further back, there were thousands of arguments about who was the best from the '03 class: Wade, Melo, or LeBron? That seems almost absurd now.

You really think LeBron isn’t the most privileged basketball player in NBA history?

Could be first in everything else simply because of this… which is still impressive for a 39 year old.

It’s a shame he’s been MIA for the last 2 Olympics
