Jimmy Johns, highly touted out of HS, Alabama HB/FB/LB from 05 to 07 I believe. Was kicked off the team prior to '08 for dealing coke.

If Hernandez is convicted of first degree murder, he jumps to the top of the list, ahead of Belcher and Carruth, since he has so much more athletic potential than those two guys.
OJ and the former Oakland Raider who may be a serial killer (Anthony Smith) both did their crimes after retiring and maximizing their earnings, and besides, OJ walked even though he killed his ex-wife and Smith has yet to go on trial for his various crimes. Although with four trials, I bet he gets convicted at least once.

If convicted he's up there with the best of them.

Carruth's NFL career wasn't going all that well. Hernandez was doing better and had more potential.
OJ was already in the HOF when he killed his ex-wife. He had a history of violence so she left. He's the type who sees women as property so that was unacceptable. But he didn't throw away as much as Hernandez did.

he's #1 on the frick up list IMO
He is NOT even close to what OJ did.............

OJ had been retired for years. Hernandez is most likely going to spend what should be the prime of his career in prison.

What does this matter. Oj got his fame from being an athlete. What he did was unreal compared to Hernandez.......

They both got first degree murder charges. But Hernandez did it before even entering his prime.
I don't see what's so unreal about OJ's insane behavior compared to Hernandez.

The question OP asked was who fricked up their career more

An intoxicated Donte Stallworth ran over that guy crossing the highway.
That was an accident though.
Henandez is second to Belcher, because Belcher killed two people.

I am trying to figure out why you all are trying to say OJ was guilty...

He is with Rae Carruth, Ray Lewis, OJ, Pacman and Titus Young as sure-fire First-Team All THUG POS
You're grouping a lot of things that don't belong together. Hernandez is in the same class as Carruth and maybe OJ, but Lewis, and Pacman and Young aren't. Lewis defintely, Pacman probably, redeemed themselves before it was to late and got their lives back on track. Pacman and Lewis are in the same class as Ben Rothlisberger. I would put OJ in the same class as Billy Cannon, Pete Rose, Lenny Dystra, Michael Vick and Art Schlichter, since he will get out of prison one day. I would put Titus Young in the same class with Ryan Leaf, since neither of them have had any legal troubles, they're just bad teammates and malcontents.

Well, unlike Hernandez, Rae Carruth was actually convicted of murder, so until further notice I'd say he takes the cake.
Carruth killed the mother of his unborn child, and the child is now all fricked up. That is worse, IMO. Plus the fact that he was caught eating a Payday in the trunk of a car.

Hernandez fricked up his career, fame, and fortune. OJ fricked up his legacy.
Depends on which you think is more important.

aaaaaand now he is being investigated for a double homicide from an earlier occasion. LINK
FOX 25 has learned exclusively that investigators are looking into Aaron Hernandez as a possible suspect in a double murder that happened on July 16, 2012 in downtown Boston.
does that change his ranking?

He has to be at the top or very close. I'll say will probably go down as #1.
It's 1st degree murder, execution style because some dude "dissed" him in da club. Epic stupidity. And it seems like it is an open and shut case.
He just signed his first big contract less than a year ago (his rookie one was not that much), he was a top 5 NFL TE playing for the Patriots.
Now, he will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
