I look at it like this
TIER 1: The legends (Dedeaux, Skip, Garrido)
TIER 2: The near-legends with titles (Fraser, Gustafson, Winkles/Brock, Stephenson, etc.)
TIER 3: The near-legends with no titles (Martin, Polk)
TIER 4: Other coaches with titles
TIER 5: Frequent CWS participant

That’s exactly why it’s fricking stupid for the rantards to bitch and moan about getting another coach at LSU... you just listed the top coaches of all time and forgot a HUGE part of it..
I’m not taking a shot at you by any means, I’m just saying, those idiots who cry about firing CPM all the time can NEVER offer up any suggestions at realistic, good possible replacements for Paul, because even the biggest college baseball fans can’t tell you much about other teams or coaches unless it’s the team they follow or a true conference rival
