It's not just their championships drought, they choke in the first round so often too.

They've suffered more than any other in North America

Eh, the Lions with 1 total playoff win since their 1957 title takes the cake for me

But the Leafs have had a lot of talented teams that just can't seem to ever get it done in the postseason

Detroit lions fans have suffered worse than maple leaf fans.

6,699 days since they last won a playoff series.
20,102 since they last won the Cup.

They are 1,2 and 3 in the NHL for sure.

They haven’t won since expansion - last win was with 6 teams lol

It’s truly unreal. Unlike Detroit Lions, the Maple Leafs have had really good teams. They simple cannot get it done. They are like the Cowboys, but even with worse success.

It's this plus the fact that the Maple Leafs play in the biggest city in the country that invented the game which gives them the edge over the Lions. Hell, even after expansion the Leafs never made the finals.

Pretty high up on the list. It’s really amazing.

They are entering name change territory to shake the past.

Indians have actually made it to game 7 of the World Series twice to lose it in extra innings.

Only franchise ever to do that and they did it twice.

Lions haven’t even made a conference championship game in the modern era, which is the only non-expansion team to be in that category IIRC.

From an NBA perspective, I would say the Kings are up there. They generally haven’t had much success in their history and in particular have sucked for most of their time in Sacramento.

Their best team ever lost to the Lakers in a contested series which has been the focal point for a lot of “NBA fixes games!” claims.

Lions did actually make the NFC title game one time with Barry. I think they got destroyed.

Lions are top dog.

Browns fans complain the most but that's just because Ohio fans are naturally obnoxious...and think the world revolves around their shitty teams...Cavs, Browns, LeBron, shut-up already.

Lions fans live in quiet despair. Sort of like the Big House...a lot of fans, but quiet...resigned elder statesmen while Ohio fans are whiny little enfant terribles.

That season had their one playoff win in like 60 years. The Redskins that year were one of the GOAT teams.
