I’m talking GM and running the draft, not coaching.

Honestly, how nervous are Pats fans about Bill rebuilding through the draft? he’s whiffed on a lot of their higher pics the last few years, but with Brady and his coaching it hasn’t mattered.

Worst comes to worst we suck for 4 years and he burns himself out. I literally cannot complain.

I wouldn't consider myself a huge Patriots fan. But I have enjoyed watching them during the Brady era. I don't have any hats, tees, etc but I would always watch when they were on TV. I still watch this year but it's not the same without Brady.

So if you were given the option to keep Bill as HC and hire Colbert, Veach, or DeCosta just to pull a few examples, you’d rather keep it the way it is with Bill running the draft?

This hypothetical is dumb. There's zero chance this happens.

Yes, of course, wasn’t meant as a real world scenario. Was a response to “there’s no one else I’d rather have do it” referencing Bellichick rebuilding this roster himself through the draft.

trade up in the draft for Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields

I don’t think the jets are going to just let them trade for Lawrence.
