I love how y'all act like the thread title was the only question asked in this thread and no one responds when prompted with what they think about the second question.
you seem pretty reasonable and not douchey fwiw

I have to admit this threads been entertaining. I think it's good for the board to have all these new Falcon fans popping out and talking smack with Saints fans. Makes the board a lot of fun
This is my position. If its a valid topic lets debate it. Will it lead to some over the top responses? Probably, but thats a small price IMO.

Agreed. The falcons loss is going to be amazing. I've actually enjoyed it a lot having the back and forth. If chicken had a sick sense of humor he would change it to saints/falcons talk.

But, sadly, you do not...
Apparently, you do not understand that this is a privately run site and that you do not have a free run at whatever you want to do.
We allow A LOT of shite-talking on the boards but, sometimes...with some people, we have to shut it down.
You, Spank, are one of those people.
And, before you get your panties in a bunch, there are also A LOT of Saints fans that we've had to put down because of the same issue.
Is it fun to start shite from time-to-time - of course. But, when it's seemingly your sole purpose on the board, then it gets real old, real fast.

So it's Goodell's fault that the team was in disarray. Not that hard to figure out.

The Bucs were especially close in that second matchup.

Was the punishment harsh? yes. But you do the crime you do the time.
Its not Goodells fault your team was unable to win games.
EDIT) adding comments

Please provide proof that the NFL's claims were legit. Because they have yet to provide evidence to support their claim.
And then there is this:

I never thought the player suspensions were legit.
But the video of GW is all you need to know the coaches supported some sort of wrong doingPERIOD

I'm talking about final record, genius.

And we didn't even fire him after that very game... oh wait

It's pure wishful thinking from falcons fans if they think the saints won't make the playoffs next year. Despite the bad defense, if our coach wasn't frivolously taken away from us, the saints would have won 11-12 games and made the playoffs.
1. Payton back
2. Slight improvement on D
3 slightly easier schedule
Playoffs for the saints next year is almost a given.

To answer the OP's question, I say next year. We have a deadly offense. Our defense will be better next year. Not a great defense, but decent enough for us to return to the playoffs. I will say that the Saints window is closing to get another trophy. There are a lot of good, young teams that are already contenders

I've heard similar stuff from coaches all my life. Are they paying players to injure others?
Also, if the player suspensions were bullshite, then the suspension of Payton was also bullshite. You can't have it both ways.

The Saints swept the Bucs, including a shutout rout.
They finished with the same record, so how, exactly, have they passed the Saints?

I disagree. The team was under investigation for a long time. The coaches (GW) let this thing continue. Head Coach takes the fall. I don't blame the players simply because the coaches either supported it or created an environment for it to happen.

Are you retarded? I said the Buccs were pretty close, record wise.
Reading comprehension and all that other jazz.

And your evidence to support this claim is what, exactly?
Oh, and you said "for it to happen".
What exactly is "it"?
