Last year the Braves went 76-86, changed managers, and are now on a roll. Not sure if he’s the best case study for your argument.
Then explain his time in Colorado.

I don’t disagree with any of that.
IMO, this is all Dana Brown’s doing. And probably some of Crane too because he seems pretty difficult to work with. I think you need a strong personality like Luhnow was to stand up to him and tell him what’s needed and to push back.
The MLB roster is mediocre. The minors are in awful shape. And I don’t see anything changing anytime soon.
To be fair to the organization, they’re not NY or LA. So when the pendulum swings one way for over a decade, it’s always going to swing back and I think that’s where we are right now. They HAVE to get rid of Brown and hire someone that can build the farm system up or we’re going to watch teams like this for a while. And if Brown were a GM capable of building the farm, we’d already see an improvement by now and we just haven’t. The quality of every team across the board from the top down has decreased for a while now.
He’s gotta go.

Joe torre wasn’t considered a great manager , called “clueless Joe” when the Yankees hired him and then went on a run.
The more pertinent data is that the same Braves roster last year finished under .500 under Snit, they fired him and brought in someone who was a mediocre manager 10 years ago and are doing much better
I do agree with your premise that it’s more than the manager, a manager can only do so much with what they have but the Braves were hot trash last year and now have had the best record in baseball for most of the season

Brown and Crane have put the team in a position where they’ll have to deal some combo of Pena, Hunter Brown, Hader, Walker, and or Parades between July and the offseason. Farm is just in too bad of shape no matter how they finish this season.

Sometimes it just helps to bring in a new voice for a talented roster that’s been together for a while with the same manager and has gotten a little too comfortable. I think that’s what is happening in Atlanta. The biggest issue with the Astros is the roster isn’t that talented in the first place. Dream up whoever you think the best manager ever is, and it wouldn’t make a difference, that’s just not how baseball works
Espada should and probably will get fired at the end of the year if not before, but the issues are much bigger than him

I think Dana Brown has done pretty well cobbling together reasonably competitive teams. The problem is that he has very little to trade: the farm sucks.
And that's the real problem. Fire those responsible for that situation (which may be Brown).

Bring back 2011?
Don't be so obtuse

Nope
Altuve, Correa, and Yordan will still be around plus the younger players like Cam, Spaghetti, etc. Crane isn’t going to strip the whole roster.

Well, of course.
The league has changed the draft specifically to deter such things
And the Astros were the reason they did it
