You could see Jerry Jones basically saying he’s fired.

I remember when the Saints had Chip Lomiller, he seemed to miss PATs and that’s when they were 20 yards. I don’t think he missed 4 in a row though.

Apparently Maher missed his last attempt of the regular season and has now missed 5 in a row. So before that, he was 128/133 making 96.24% of his XPs. The probably that he would then miss 5 in a row with that %, is 0.000000075% or 1 in 13.317 MILLION.

Are you talking misses one, two, and three tonight or misses two, three, and four?

Maher didn’t cost them the game. Dicker’s NFL career is more at risk, but even he didn’t pull a Parkey or Norwood.

I wonder if they stick with him or bring in that former CFL kicker that competed with him preseason

Never seen anything like that.

Felt bad for him after the 2nd miss.

Four? Just unbelievable for an NFL kicker on PATs

4 has never happened in one game consecutively by the same person according to the stats. Only 3 games are listed with 4 missed PATs which is the most. Chicago Cardinals on 12/11/1955 was 2 different kickers. Philadelphia Eagles on 11/4/1945 was not consecutive. Washington Redskins on 10/8/1944 was not 4 because the first was a missed 2 point attempt, according to the game stats. If anyone can prove this was a missed PAT, then I will retract the claim. Also, was at a closer distance back then.
