As one of the elite pgs. He is absolutely making the 'prodigal son' CP3 look like a scrub. But the consensus of the board is that Parker isn't even in his league.

Are you watching the telecast? I think he's getting credit for being elite.

Barkley, Reggie and Webber all called him the best PG in the NBA.

If the Knicks were as elite of an organization as the Spurs, ESPN would change it's name to the Knicks Report. It is absolutely insane how unrecognized that whole team is. What Tim Duncan is doing at that age is unreal. Greg Popovich is one of the greatest coaches of all-time.

If rather Parker. Paul isn't existent tonight, and it's not the first time he's been made to look foolish by S.A. And yeah, a but of homerism in the pick too.

I said I'd rather Tony Parker than Kobe Bryan earlier in the year and I was laughed out of the thread.

So the 08 playoffs, a year in which the Spurs still got by Paul's team, is your best example? Damn the Spurs for not sweeping lol

Yes Coach Pop is a factor, but TP is running this offense to damn near perfection nearing the end of a long road trip...much better than CP3 and his squad.

If the clips are elite, then their star player shouldn't melt in the spotlight. More fouls than points right now lol

I feel like from February to the playoffs Parker gets as much if not more love than any other PG in the league. It's only in the offseason and first 2 months or so that people sleep on him.

well do i need to recite his career splits vs SA?

19/8/4 3:1 Ast:TO ratio in 26 games

Paul has always played SA tough, as well as his teams.

he's not playing well tonight, so what.

Parker had 4 pts when they first played earlier in the season, when LAC won by 25

It makes for an interesting argument trying to rank the point guards in the NBA today. I might say something like:

1) Tony Parker
2) Russell Westbrook
3) Chris Paul
4) Kyrie Irving
5) Derrick Rose (this low because he's hurt)
6) Rajon Rondo
7) Derron Williams
8) Rubio?

This list obviously leaves off the used to be legit guys like Nash or Kidd

You don't need an elite point guard

Playing on the Spurs doesn't help. Duncan doesn't get enough credit and he's the best PF to have ever played.
