Randolph is just tough. Old school. Runs with gangbangers. Don't bluff. We get it bro you been telling us how tough and bad arse you are for 10+ years. After a while People get tired of hearing that.

Q-pon thinks he's Kobe Bryant. The Grizz were off to their best start ever last year and he would be on the bench whining because he wasn't getting enough minutes.

but like you said there must be something going on because the got beat bad in half of their games

It's like they get down and say "screw it". I've seen them come back from what... being down 30?

Now it's like they get behind by 1 and it snowballs to a 50 point loss. 50 friggin points. Golden State could simply not have scored a single point in the last 20 minutes of the game... and they would still win. I'm telling you, something is wrong with the Grizzlies. I don't know what it is. Maybe Chris Vernon can shed some light on it.

Oh I am not saying they will make some massive signing, just that they actually have some space to work with for like the first time ever.

It was only a matter of time before Randolph tailed off. He showed signs last year. Gasol is the only "superstar" who can't actually carry a team. They are in trouble

He then told the NOLA media that it was all made up despite him doing it in front of 1000's of people

Zbo has actually played pretty well. A bit slow on some of his rotations but he had a 20/10 the other night and a 16/10 last night.

Gasol is considered at top 10 player in the NBA as per CBS and ESPN, along with his first team all nba selection last year.

The real problem with the grizz is that they have no shooting.

Randalolph being an old school four compounds the issue.

but as always, you don't know what you're talking about.

ETA: How a team with Hollinger in the organization can't find shooting is baffling.

The NFC South Monstars stole all the talent from the Southwest Division.

They have found shooters. They just somehow forget how to shoot once they start playing here for some reason.

I wish Marc would just start shooting them because we know he can.

Welp

quote:

Pera, I’m told, wants to see young guard Jordan Adams get an opportunity and hasn’t forgotten that Hassan Whiteside got cut twice by the Grizzlies before Thanksgiving a year ago before going to Miami and emerging as one of the league’s young breakout forces. Dismay around town about the Grizzlies' substitution patterns and lack of offensive creativity is bubbling anew.

Well it is at least nice to see that Pera is on team #FreeJordanAdams

Another potential complication: Pera is known to be a huge fan of Tom Thibodeau, has pursued him before and could be moved to make a run at Thibs before someone else does.

Coaching change or not, there are rival executives out there who believe that the Grizzlies will ultimately be forced to look hard at trading Mayor of Memphis, Zach Randolph, if they want to commission a serious shake-up that leads to a roster infusion of youth and athleticism. As shocking to the system as that would be for many Memphians, Randolph is the player on the roster most likely to fetch a difference-maker in return.

No thanks. Terrible fit for a team that wants to get out and run.

Yeah I don't think you could come up with a worse fit than Houston for Zbo

Grizz have trailed by 20+ Points for 62 minutes this season. Last season that number was 88 for the whole year
