Ed Oliver to H Town?
Probably 10-20 guys who went to HBCUs I don't know about.

Makur Maker (5 star basketball recruit) committed to Howard in the summer.

Was Robert Parish a big recruit? Could you imagine a future NBA HOFer committing to Centenary these days?

Worst academically? Worst in terms of prestige?
Howard U. got a blue chip center to play there (Makur Maker). That was a big deal when it happened.

I think OP meant examples of a 5* or highly rated 4* that have gone to small (in their respective sports) schools

I forget the name, but there was a player who commited to ECU during the Under Armour All-American game. Prob within the last few years, the guy conducting the interview and the announcers were pretty shocked. I assume he was at least 4 star considering he was playing in that game.
Found it.. 2012

Rakim Jarrett takes the cake by far, he'll have to transfer to salvage a career. All bc he wanted to spite LSU for not taking his dumbass cousin

Keenan Allen could have started day 1 at Alabama with Julio Jones but he went to Cal because they were the only D1 school that offered his bum arse noodle armed brother.
