yeah they would. soccer is only "the most popular sport in the world" because nobody outside the states can afford the incredible cost of plastic helmets and pads. I bet that rice is the most popular food in the world, but not because its good but because its cheap and foreigners have no other choice. Give any foreigner the choice between soccer and a NFL game and they'll take the NFL game.

soccer is the easiest sport to play, but the hardest to play well. dont be stupid, soccer is a way of life for most people outside of the u.s.

most boring sport is def mls, and nfl teams i dont give a shite about i cannot tune in for that long to watch the browns play the bengals for instance

However, I do agree with him to an extent. Football, if it wasn't such an expensive game, would be more popular around the world if it was given a chance. But the same is true of soccer in America, not many people ever give the sport a chance.
