1/9/12

i woke up the next morning and ate a full box of betty crocker blueberry muffins out of depression as the rain pitter pattered off my roof.

Honestly, 1/10 might have been worse than 1/9

there's a lot but i'll try and narrow it down

1) 2001 Raider vs Pats, the freaking tuck rule may have cost us a SB

2) the next year getting smashed by the Bucs in the SB

3) 2006 Rose Bowl - USC vs UT. I still can't watch this game without flipping out

4) 1999 The dodgers trade Mike Piazza. I was so freaking pissed at the franchise for doing that.

The entire week of January 9, 2012. Between the lsu and saints loss, I was devastated for about two weeks. The lsu loss hurt but was so maddening that I actually got over it more quickly. The saints game....ugh. I will never forget leaving the bar after the game was over and my girlfriend who is very level headed about sports, unlike me, was sobbing her eyes out. That entire week can suck my balls.

The arse whooping Florida put on Ohio State in the NCG. I was watching it at a friends and left at half because I couldn't take how everyone acted like they didn't care. I decided to watch the 2nd half when I got back home knowing chances were minimal. My parents room was connected to the living room and I didn't know they were already home and trying to sleep. I'll never forget my dad coming out and slamming their bedroom door because of how disgusted he was with the performance OSU put forth.

has to be 1/9 for me. I turned my phone off for over a day.

I remember when LSU got fricked in that Aub game. I was kinda young so dont remember the year off the top of my head and I was just crushed. I was probably in middle school or some and it was like my dog died

had a 6 game NBA teaser and GS was up 29 at half to close it out. Detroit came back and won lost by 5. spread was GS -6. it was pretty heart breaking. I hedged alittle but it still hurt

LSU losing to Bama the way they did in the national championship after steam rolling the whole season hurt. (Outside of 9-6.) that was miserable but at least the saints won the playoff game the Saturday before.

not really a single day, but around christmas 2011 the talk was that LSU and the Saints could realistically win both their respective championships was everywhere. Then LSu goes full retard, and the saints choke at San Fran. To this day i am still pissed over that fricking qb scrabble. I was the happiest person alive when smith got that concussion last year then got jewed by kaepernick and harbaugh

My phone died and I didn't plug it in for over a day. I got plastered when I knew it was over. Passed out in the hotel bathroom and rode home with my friends and didn't say a word. I don't remember much of that day anymore because I think my mind just blocks it out.

1/9 is the only answer for lsu fans. Nothing else even comes close to the way I felt walking out of the stadium. Took me forever to get over that one.

1/9

As a young Astros fan, the NLDS vs the Padres in 98 was heartbreaking.

Plus, there was the whole thing about already beating Alabama and they got a second shot at it

This day bothered me as much as if not more than the actual 1/9. I knew as soon as Bama got into the title match that we would lose it because it's just the way it was all playing out.
