What was going on with the clock at the end of the Saints/Commanders game?

You can clearly see the commanders players are in no hurry to get off the saints player, hence the ref coming in and stopping the clock.

This happened at the end of LSU/PSU and the refs flagged lsu for trying to get the ball back.

It was plain as day on live tv. Ref started waiving his hands for the clock to stop immediately after the play. Saints caught a break and they still couldn’t capitalize. Though I do think if it continues to run they still have time to spike the ball.

I noticed during the game it froze at 9 seconds and expected it to be reviewed and changed.

That one still pisses me off - that was a 20-yard swing on a terrible call. Should have been delay on PSU which would have set us up for a game-winning FG attempt.

NFL refs caught cheating…also called two BS roughing passer call against Commanders and no call on obvious Pass Interference on McClauren that would have sealed it for Washington. Horrible refereeing

LSU fans making fun of saints fan for complaining about refs is priceless. Esp when in the same thread, which has nothing to do with LSU, 2 LSU fans are complaining about the refs in a game vs PSU
