Great choices. Kick 6 was probably the greatest ending I've ever seen, especially considering the 1 second added back on the clock.

Auburn 2013 had two incredible moments.

Don't know if it was mentioned, but the OSU vs Miami championship game was up there. (Even though refs gave game away)

It's interesting no one has mentioned either of the last 2 NC games, considering OT and an all time perforce by Watson.

I don't think either top USC Texas though.

Is it USC VS Texas?

In my lifetime, I think so. That was just flat out insane to watch, even as a non-fan of those teams.

I think others have kind of touched upon it. Those were also highly enjoyable games to watch. But USC-Texas just had that “it” factor with all of the high drama before they even took the field. USC’s 34 game streak for one with Texas right behind them at 19. Then everything that happened during it. Throw in the Rose Bowl setting and it was just another level.

Yeah no doubt. I remember the Matthew McConaughey - Will Ferrell skit during pregame with Ferrell holding up the Heismans to his ear as if he couldn't hear anything.

Thrilling. Major consequence.
And it being against saban improves it for me.
One of the devastating things about it for Bama was that it was on t.v. 25 times a day.

I'm glad people mentioned BC vs Miami in 84, cause it's the game that got me watching football as a child. Flutie's Hail Mary is still one of the greatest moments in sports ever (LINK )..

2006 USC Texas
2007 BSU vs OU

2015 Big ten title MSU vs Iowa. Low scoring but that 20 play drive was something else. LJ scott scoring by 6 inches was also part of the drama. Iowa also had a bomb TD

Should have been one of the greatest, but near the end of the game Notre Dame played to preserve the tie rather than go for the win.

USC Texas had everything

Title stakes
2 Hesmain winners and a Heisman runner-up
Texas being an underdog despite being statistically better
Controversial calls
Momentum swings
Clutch defensive play on 4th down
Incredible individual effort by Young
Drama til the very end

Plus it was the Rose Bowl, probably the most famous CFB setting

It's my #1 for sure

And USC was on a 34-game win streak; Texas was on a 19-game win streak.

Agreed. With replay, that game is well over in regulation. Ohio State got screwed.

There is no way the '87 Fiesta Bowl between State Penn and Miami should be ranked ahead of '69 Texas-Arkansas.

Third-tier, meaningless games relegated to the SEC Network are ineligible for consideration.
