Wisonsin would beat TCU by 10+ in Rose Bowl

And by far the worst predition i have ever made was that the '08 LSU defense would be just as good/if not better than the '07 defense... obviously i had on some huge P&G glasses...

Leaf over Manning.

Yeah, I wasn't the only one

Anybody remember a guy named Fred Edelstein?

He was all over TV in the '90s. Had a NFL picks show, was even on ESPN for awhile. Sort of like a Mort-Clayton-Schefter.

I'll never forget watching his show just before the '98 season. He devoted an entire segment to a detailed Manning-Leaf comparison, saying that Manning would have a decent career, and Leaf would going to Canton, Ohio.

FWIW, this is the last info I have on Fred:

FRED EDELSTEIN GOING TO PRISON

PHILADELPHIA -- Fred Edelstein, the editor and publisher of a weekly newsletter covering the NFL, was sentenced Thursday to 21 months in federal prison.

Edelstein's scheme conned investors, including former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Bill Bergey, out of nearly $600,000.

The 50-year-old publisher of "Fred Edelstein's Pro Football Insider," pleaded guilty to defrauding eight people out of $589,000. He also was ordered to make full restitution, $120,000 of which must be paid within the five-year probation after his release.

"To know that ... I took money from friends, to know they trusted me and I let them down, the remorse is overwhelming," Edelstein told U.S. District Judge Jay C. Waldman. He apologized to his victims, some of whom were in court for the sentencing, and asked the judge for leniency, suggesting he could repay his victims more quickly if he was working and not behind bars.

I was positive the Saints made the wrong decision in signing Drew Brees instead of Dante Culpepper.

There was no way that Nick Saban would take the Alabama job.

In 2008 I thought Matt Cassell going to the Kansas City Chiefs was going to make them a force, I remember saying Kansas City Chiefs are going to dominate the AFC West.

I'd also like to add I thought the Derrick Rose/CDR Memphis team would beat Kansas in the national title game the year Chalmers hit the shot.

That is not a terrible prediction.

Got justifiably called out on it.

- 04 Lakers would destroy the Pistons in the Finals

- Matt Ryan wouldn't be a good QB

- Andre Wadsworth would be a beast in the NFL (though injuries did him in more than anything)

- Ryan11 would make an NFL squad
