I agree 100% with Commissioner Silvers findings and the actions taken against Donald Sterling

One of Cuban's PR guys must have told him to change his stance today. He was filmed making a long statement on this yesterday saying it would set a bad precedent. Cuban's quote went a couple of minutes too long and he started rambling about the same thing over and over. Like I said someone on his PR team must have told him his statement was a little strange to say the least.

I agreed with Cuban last night. But I could see some idiots thinking Cuban was standing up for Sterling. Which obviously makes him a racist.

I love all the MSB Constitutional scholars

They're going to make him sell, not take it away. Sterling will walk away with around $900 million

If you are referring to the first amendment, then you are off base.

All that does is protect your voice from getting you arrested.
What you dont understand is that Freedom of expression is a mega ideal that existed begore the constitution an supercedes. Our founding fathers wanted to protect people not just from the govt but from any persecution for expressing their views. All the hate for sterling shows how unforgiving people are. They are all guilty of equal hate. The best anyone could do is forgive him and move on. All you people lashing out are only imprisoning yourselves. Hate for haters is still hate.

You do know the Clippers are a franchise no different than owning a McDonalds right?

If he owned "Sterling's burgers and fries" no one could take his store away but he owns a franchise which means he's part of a bigger organization and if you are the cause of something detrimental to that organization they can kick you out.

Don't do anything to turn the nation against you when the league has wanted to get rid of you for years and there's a rookie commish looking to make his mark. I really don't think it's a slippery slope, I think it's a perfect shite storm for Sterling.

The NBA doesnt operate like mcdonalds. However for fun I will play along. So we are allowed to hate and not forgive franchisees?

Well a lot of the people that think like Sterling are about to die so hopefully this is an isolated case.

To a degree they do. You cant be just anyone and buy a team. Just like Rush Limbaugh and the rams and Mark Cuban and the MLB. They are pieces of a whole. The press that has resulted from this-justified or not-has left Silver no choice. Also I understand the "if a player made a comment yada yada yada" argument, but you have to understand due to the present situation-a white owner talking poorly about black people and the majority of his employees are black-presents a much different PR storm due to history.

The NBA is in this to make a profit and Sterling has greatly hindered that.

Let this be a lesson to white people everywhere. You can't have an opinion, even in private, that is in opposition to the political correctness lynch mob. 1st Amendment freedoms do not apply if your skin is the wrong color.

Sterling isn't getting arrested so his civil rights are not being violated.

The real lesson here is not to trust that some glorified whore won't be making it her top priority to record some dirt on you so keep your mouth shut.

No discussion of Mark Cuban waffling on his position?

Last night he says you can't take away a person's franchise for something they say. Now he says he supports the commissioner 100%. Somebody turned the heat up on him.

I guess it says that if you have a history of racism and a tape of you making a complete arse of yourself is leaked to the press, you may not be able to own an NBA team.

An illegal tape of someone expressing an opinion will lead to over reaction to prove that we aren't racist
