What were those Dodgers up to in 2019 that might have changed after the 2019 season? inquiring minds want to know.

I’m sure they had a system just like the rest of the mlb. ASTROS were just the scapegoat

Got injured and it is common for MLB pitching to catch up to young hitters. You hear about having to make adjustments after their sophomore year. He hasn't successfully yet.

He hasn’t been very good since, but he did hit .305/.406/.629 over 660 PAs while playing excellent defense in 2019. That’s a legit MVP.

There is an argument for Yelich too that year, but either would have been deserving.

His offensive output was godawful the second half of 2019. The stats you posted were built by a phenomenal first 2 1/2 months of the season.

His OBP was .336 in August

His OBP was over .375 in every other month for the entire season. Hard to call that godawful
Slugging % also over .560 in every month except for September when it was .512

Yeah, his second half OPS was .913. That is great. His first half was better, but an OPS north of .900 is elite.

Meh, he was garbage from June on. I watched most every dodgers game and he didn't perform in clutch situations. He was a liability late in games with RISP and the dodgers were behind. He was good late in games when the dodgers were ahead in games and the pressure wasn't on. Is there a stat for that?

I’ll go with the stats that tracked literally every at-bat rather than your eye test on “most every game” and your opinion of what is good, clutch, and when the pressure is on

But they don't tell you all the situations. Stats are a generality

Zappas Stache is to Cody Bellinger what Prominentwon is to Kyle Tucker. LOL

He'd rather smoke weed and cry about the Astros.

He just handed the game to the giants with a throwing error from first to third that he should have never even tried.
