6 majors has about a 1% chance of happening.

I don't think it's a stretch for him to win 24 more times. He's got another 10 years or so left, and has to average a little over 2 wins a year.

Vijay won 25 times after the age of 38. But yeah tiger has no chance.

And hogan won 6 majors after 36 and the wreck. But again you would be an idiot to even think tiger could do it.

I guess the winning percentage. Then the 4 majors in a row. And winning 5 times or more in a row on 3 separate occasions has to be way up there.

The last one tells you just how much he killed his competition. It's insane. And he's won what...5 of his last 19? That's still on his pace with his 27% winning percentage.

Crazy.

The 6 usga titles is definitely the most underrated.

I can't believe how many people don't say the cuts streak. Making that many, and not just throwing in the towel for one week when you're struggling is unbelievable. I know guys who have missed to spend the weekend at Disney world

Definately.

His Amateur career would is HOF.

3 us amateurs
3 jr amateurs
1 NCAA individual championship

There's a handful of men who have won the US Amateur and NCAA individual championships in the same year (Nicklaus, Tiger, and Mickelson).

Good thread bud. I can't even get close to answering this question. But to the second question, it will definitely go down as the greatest accomplishment in sports history hands down!

This in a big way. I rank it only behind the cut streak. Then I have the US Open. It is possibly the greatest performance in sports history. Then the tiger slam. The others are all more career achievements so they're harder to rank and are just part of his resume.

This is amazing but when talking about tiger's accomplishments it's overrated. The 6 consecutive USGA ships and the cuts made both trump it IMO.

I agree with this.

The US Open performance seemed like he was playing a video game. I mean 15 shot victory? only person under par? Incredible.

See that just goes to show you how great tiger is and how he changed the way people think .. Before tiger there was no talk of anybody winning four majors in a row in fact when one referenced the grand slam, it was always known you were talking about doing it over a lifetime not in one year. He changed that ..

You are an IDIOT if you think Tiger will win 6 more majors. You are still living in the 2000-2005 mode with him.. He will NEVER BE THAT GUY AGAIN............
