In the long run the media won't frick with the NFL. It isn't good for their bottom line.

It's part of the Europeanization of America. For the last 8-10 years we've heard "why can't the U.S. be more like Europe? Look at Europe's healthcare system, look at Europe's green energy system, Europe this and Europe that.". Not to get too crazy but it's almost like a New World Order initiative where we are all the same. It's damn near communist.
Americans love to fight. Football is like a war played out on a gridiron. Can't have any of that. Need to be more civil, like Europe.
It's part of the systematic breakdown of the fabric of this country.
Either that or it's this country's tendency to break down anything that is too big.

Idgaf. Soccer is great. It’s physical but obviously not as physical.
I only care about football now for sentimental reasons.

Roger Goodells ridiculous power trips and over the top punishments (bounty gate, deflate gate, ray rice, this Zeke nonsense) really cast a bad light on the league for no reason. It all seems so self inflicted by just giving the media fodder.
Just handling these things internally in a normal way, not trying to change public image or take a stance on a social justice issue and none of this is even an issue.
The Kaep situation is something else that should’ve been dealt with instantly and under the table as well.
People watch the NFL to freaking watch football, not to constantly hear about scandals on the news for weeks on end
