I started to late but lax is real fun. Problem in the midwest is its a overlooked sport that isnt properly funded and coached.

Initially and currently: I hate it and don't think its entertaining.

However, I used to say that about soccer 12-15 years ago. But after all of my kids played soccer and older ones played competitively and in high school I absolutely love it. I actually prefer to watch a good soccer match rather than NFL now. I'm trying to be open minded about lacrosse because of my soccer phenomenon.

Never played it, but i do enjoy watching it on tv. Seems like it would be fun to play.

It's huge, growing up in Maryland. Pretty much everybody plays, and I'm talking public high schools. We used to hang out in high school by throwing the lax ball around instead of a baseball.

I still enjoy Memorial Day weekend and the final four.

Lacrosse is incredibly fun if you understand it. Check it out if you love basketball or soccer. It is a face paced sport with continuous motion.

I played for 3 years in high school and took 1 check from an MUS junior varsity deep hole as a senior and holy hell. I respect them just as much as football

I enjoy watching indoor way more than outdoor. It's a weird sport to me.

Put the players on roller skates and then we'll be in business

I watched some last year and it's interesting. It's amazing how accurate they are with that ball. Looks tough. I wish they offered it here in Mississippi.

Painting with a broad brush, per usual.

Ohio, the great if the mid west, has a huge lacrosse base.

loved it, but the season interfered with baseball, so had to dump it.

madison has a club team and the coast has some teams. I think St andrews in jackson has a team. I believe oxford has a team. But the big ones in that area are memphis and NOLA

the people that I know who play lacrosse are those that are too soft to play football. that's just what I observed.

That really depends on where you are. In the places where the sport is just getting started, it's mostly kids looking for a sport they can succeed in. That's all well and good. No other way for it to start.

The kids that play lacrosse at a high level in MD, NY, PA, VA and in other established pockets are anything but soft. Different seasons, so the kids who star in lacrosse are the same guys who star in football, basketball, hockey, soccer, etc.

A lot of the guys playing D1 at UVA, UNC, Duke, Cuse, etc. also had scholarship opportunities to play D1 in those other sports.

It's for kids that couldn't hack it in baseball or got burnt out on baseball. Partly kidding...partly
