Well, what are we considering arm strength? How far he can throw a ball or how quickly his ball gets there?

Think Greg Maddox. Not Randy Johnson

Huh? Brady can sling it.
Brees would be a better example.

Accuracy >>>>>>> arm strength
He's the best prospect I've seen in my 40 years.

Joe Burrow is no Kyle Boller that’s for sure

He’s the best prospect since John Elway

Better than Elway actually. He's absolutely Taylor made for the NFL.
I'd compare him to a better Peyton Manning actually.

Elway was a better prospect than Manning IMO

It's not a Brees noodle.
It's not a Stafford arm.
It's more a prime Brady-- not necessarily the longest thrower, but good velocity and rotation on what you need to throw.

quote:Steve Young's arm wasn't much to write home about, either. He always got exposed in that regard during those QB competitions they used to do in the 90s.
Joe Montana had average strength but insane accuracy and touch.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens. Right now he's surrounded by the best team in college football.
Wherever he ends up, he will be going to a really bad NFL team. We'll see how good he actually is.

That’s so true . So many college QBs who had potential just ended up on teams that magnified any weakness . You take the same qb and out them on a halfway decent team and they play 10 years . Lot of luck in making it in the NFL

Burrow’s mid range game is pretty damn exceptional. As long as you have the arm strength for that, you’re gucci, and he certainly has that

Good not great.
Accuracy good to very good.
Decisions making and defensive reads, great.
