I'm not saying the Niners aren't going to win. I'm just saying that there is SOME logic.

not really

especially if you're also picking NOLA to win.

Zero chance Panthers win? If they played 100 times, Niners would go 100-0?

jesus christ

I SPECIFICALLY said that this is the NFL and anything can happen, but the logic going into this game favors the 49ers.

but if one of the two road teams was going to win it would be the team whose opponent has no playoff experience at the HC or QB position

So you thought Green Bay was going to beat the Niners in the 2011 playoffs, right?

We didn't play GB in 2011, I assume you mean last year.

And no, I did not think we would win that game.

Yeah I mixed my years up. Saints played NIners in the div round that year. Same scenario though

I don't think you understand what "defies all logic" means.

and i don't think you understand the difference between it not making any sense to pick both NOLA and Carolina to win vs Saying there's no chance at all Carolina can win the game

I'm feeling pretty confident that the Pats and Niners will win...

Hawks/Saints and Chargers/Broncos are a little more up in the air, imo...

...going with the Saints and Broncos

ranked in order of confidence.

Patriots
Broncos
49ers
Seahawks

- I think the Saints D will have a much better game against the Seahawks this time. But... I'm not picking an upset for the Saints because I don't think that the O-line can pass block very well with all of that noise.

if the Saints can run it, I feel like we've got a good shot. But... I won't believe it until I see it.

the Eagles were leaving the door open for the Saints to run it last week. This wasn't the case each time the Saints ripped off a good run but it was most of the time I think... especially early on in the game.

hopefully the Seahawks won't take the Saints recent success running the ball all that seriously.
