Mets had the best record in basbal 1st week before the allstargame and they are in a tie w/ the reds for the last nl wildcard.

Guardians (should be called the indians) hold the head-to-head 7-4 right now. So Detroit has to finish one game better than Cleveland; if they are tied, Cleveland wins the division.

Felt like a typical game in this stretch, Skubal instead of spinning and throwing it he tossed it under his legs into right field. If he doesn’t do that either throw it normally or just held onto it, they may have kept the lead in the 6th. Crazy game.
