I’ve asked myself this one a bunch. There’s no marketing reason to pimp out the Chiefs. Someone suggested that Goodell hates Brady to the point where he wants Mahomes to eclipse him as GOAT. I could see that. Like or not, Taylor Swift has brought in more fans.

If the general consensus is major league sports, as a collective, make more revenue if Big Market teams are perennially competing for championships then KC's current run would be considered terrible for the NFL.
It could be the Chiefs are just a well run organization.
After Chiefs founder/owner Lamar Hunt's passing in 2006, Clark Hunt was given the reins of the organization. In early 2013 Clark Hunt convinced a recently fired Coach Reid that KC was the best landing spot for Reid.
In July of 2017 Clark Hunt decided to part ways with GM John Dorsey who was GM when Pat Mahomes was the Chiefs #1 draft pick in 2017. The departure of GM John Dorsey was the opening for Brett Veach's promotion to the Chiefs organization GM role.......the rest is history and history in the making.

I quit watching the games so I can't comment on how much she appears, but I put some valid information showing that this argument is NOT stupid at all. Swift has made the NFL hundreds of millions of additional revenue. That is a fact.
I do find the post game videos funny though. Other team makes good play. Refs step in and make a bad call. Bad call announced. Announcers groan and moan. TV station shows Swift cheering bad call in the booth. Announcers groan again. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
It is comical at this point if you are still tuning in to watch. The joke is on you at this point.

If people haven’t figured out the why by now they’re just not paying attention. The simple answer is that dynasties are good for sports and since the Patriot dynasty is no more the Chiefs have been selected to take their place.
