7 or 8 more nuclear get the the hell out of my way stiff-arms over the course of his career and I'm good with him being in the HOF for that alone.

He probably needs to get to 12k yards to be a sure thing. There aren’t many RBs in the HOF with fewer yards. So, 4 more 1,300 yard seasons would get him there.

The only RB in the HOF who played after 1985 and had fewer than 12k yards is Terrell Davis. Because he went God-mode in the Broncos’ super bowl runs. 1000+ yards in 7 games averaging 5+ ypc

Well now, if Henry morphs into a more effective pass catcher and producer then great.

he hasn't even topped 7,000 rushing and he's 28 now.

His best years are behind him. At least he isn't a boring back like Frank Gore though IMO.

I think Henry is a good player but just looking at some of these other backs that are all-time greats?

I don't know I just don't see it.

I've posted Watters stat line receiving.

it shits all over Henry's.

Meh.

And Watters isn't even all-time great but if you wanna call Henry one than you better call Watters one.

Have fun Bro

Realistically, he needs three more 1,700+ yard seasons. Will his body hold up? Maybe four 1,300+ yarders; it puts him comfortaby around 12K yards, around or above 100 TDs, probably another Pro Bowl or two, and still in the general conversation for the best back over a period longer than 3 or 4 years.

I’m not insinuating he’ll ever deserve it.

But he’s got the hype and popularity to sneak in the hall if he gets close to the proper numbers.

Was just wondering what those numbers would be for him.
