What backup NFL QBs would be starters for other teams?

Just watching some bad QB play today got me thinking there has to be a decent starter sitting on a bench somewhere.

Jameis could probably start for a bottom feeder.

Davis Mills could be a serviceable starter

Is he still with the Texans? He was decent in some games I saw him in. What about Dak’s backup? Seems like he was ok.

Yes, on his rookie contract.

Cooper Rush balled out in preseason

Are they paying them enough to keep them. Are they more valuable than the draft picks they could get for them?

He was not the reason the Texans sucked. I don't expect it, but he could be an elite if not solid NFL QB in time. Off the top of my head, the Colts, Pats, Falcons, Jets, Giants, and Bears would all have him starting this week.

Not sure on Cooper Rush but Davis Mills is expendable since they have Case Keenum as a backup as well.

Case Keenum is the Bills backup quarterback. He would be an improvement over at least half a dozen of the quarterbacks starting now. Same thing with Jacoby Brissett in Washington. I don't think either could turn a 7-10 team into a playoff team but they could turn a 4-13 team into a 7-10 team.

I would definitely see if the Texans would take a 3rd for him. Hell maybe even a 2nd.

There are Browns fans who still miss him. Some of his numbers in Cleveland last year aren't any worse than Watson's this year.

Kyle Allen is the backup in Buffalo.

Mac Jones could be a good starter for someone else. Please, it would only take a 3rd round pick to test drive, low mileage.

My bad, I was looking at the wrong milk carton. Point remains the same.

Probably all of them would start over Tommy Devito.

There’s too many backups currently starting tbh
