We’re almost 50 picks in and none of the sports “smartest” minds has drafted Nakobe Dean

The “You can’t question the coach/GM because they know more than you” crowd is taking a legendary L here

If he falls to the Falcons again and we pass on him at 58 I’m gonna burn down the stadium

He's falling due to his medicals. Nothing less.

Maybe his medicals are off.

Not saying Dean is this guy because he's much better, but I remember people melting because Scooby Wright fell forever.

There must be an injury that has NFL scouts worries long term.

He's like an inch off Vilma but everything else on tape screams just like him. Not being able to work out had to hurt a bunch too.

Edit: it was leaked that he's played with a torn labrum the last 4 years instead of getting surgery to fix it.

I mean, is it really surprising a smallish off ball LB that was protected by monsters on the DL isn’t a first round pick?

It’s not 1996 or whenever Zach Thomas was drafted

Chenal will be a better NFL linebacker than Dean.

He’s smaller

But safeties have become more important than lb in today’s nfl. Lb is maybe the least important position on the field now

Imagine thinking there’s people on this board that know more about this or is smarter in terms of player evaluation than GMs. Lol
