so scratch them off the relevant list, AGAIN

remembering them beating the shite out of everyone and seeing this is insane. they may never recover. I thought frost would be better than this shite.

Nebraska hasn't been relevant since they had Suh and almost knocked Colt McCoy and Texas out of the natty.
Illinois hasn't been relevant maybe ever. I think Juice Williams beat Ohio State once.

Nebraska will never recover. What 18 year old in modern times wants to go to Nebraska?

Their move to the B1G was idiotic

I don’t expect Illinois to be very good this year but it’s a breath of fresh air to see them not miss 8 tackles every play. Burt has a long way to go but he is definitely been an upgrade.

Did you see the qb that Illinois had to put in when the starter got hurt? He may have had the worst stats I’ve seen from a guy with a significant sample size. He came from Rutgers , he never would have gotten enough playing time to accumulate those terrible stats anywhere else.
It said he had a 52 percent completion percentage with 8tds and 20 ints.
The 52 percent isn’t THAT bad if you aren’t throwing picks , but that td:int ratio is the worst I’ve seen

Yeah he wouldn’t be very good anywhere but his stats were severely deflated at Rutgers. Running for his life was an understatement

Illinois has an excuse. New coach during COVID and backup QB in

I like this backup QB.

And I soon as I say that he drops a dime.

How did Nebraska get so bad?
Posted on 8/28/21 at 2:50 pm to nicholastiger
It’s just unacceptable that they can’t muster some offense against Illinois in Scott Frost’s 4th season.

They both look terrible, but there is a reasonable chance they both finish in the upper half of the B10 this season.
Says volumes about that conference.

1983 10-1 Illinois with Jack Trudeau and David Williams says hold my beer.
