It will be OSU v. Stanford/Oregon. LSU's only chance is to lose to Bama. Bama wins NC. Entire SEC rides Bama's coat tailed with chants of "SEC SEC SEC".

If beating bammers mean that no one from the SEC plays in the BCSCG- Ill take it. I don't care about the SEC streak- etc etc.

Despite they northern hype machine, Ohio States schedule is way to weak.

Their highest OOC opponent is Cal, who will likely finish 4-8.

Buffalo and San Diego State aren't ranked in the Top 100 by CFN. And FAMU is worse that that.

They'll only play 3 games, at most 4 against top 25 teams.

Considering that the big ten is at best the 4th best league, and possibly behind the big 12 for fifth, OSU won't pass an undefeated seC, acc, PAC 12 or Big 12 champion, and wouldn't pass a one loss UGA or LSU

Louisville could beat every team remaining on their schedule by 50 and they still won't sniff the the championship game.

There are still 17 undefeated programs after week 6...that seems like it is more than usual.

Louisville, Houston, Clemson, Fl. State, Miami, Oklahoma, TX Tech, Baylor, Michigan, Ohio State, Northern Ill, Fresno St., Stanford, Oregon, UCLA, Alabama and Missouri. It is going to be tough for a one loss team to get into the BCS game.

I agree. I'm hoping like hell that since there is a B1G Ten Championship Game now that they get surprised by someone and end up missing Pasadena and allowing that 1-loss SEC Champion in to play whoever else is at the top

True, their remaining schedule is weak, but if they do make it past the Big10 CG and into the BCSCG, they will get humiliated. Again.

They will have to play Wisconsin again or Nebraska in the conference championship.

That's the dumbest thing I've read in a while. How does losing to Bama help LSU? Are you retarded or just play one on t.v.?

Wisconsin is in the same division as Ohio State.

Clemson, FSU and Miami...only 1 team

Oklahoma, TTU and Baylor only 1

Michigan Ohio State only 1

Oregon, Stanford, UCLA only 1

Alabama and Mizzou only 1

Fresno, northern ill and Houston are insignificant

Louisville will not beat a 1 loss UGA or LSU.

So potentially you could have unseated teams from PAC 10, ACC, Big 12 and big 10 if you do have a 1-loss SEC champ.

The PAC 10 is guaranteed in that scenario. The ACC probably gets the second spot unless LSU gets a big bump in the polls knocking off alabama And winning a rematch with UGA....but it's close.

UGa's shot is to get into SEC c and beat Bama, and hope they get the bump...but they'd have a hard time if Clemson wins the ACC.

Save the post and put me on record that A 1-loss LSU that wins a rematch with UGA or 1-loss UGA that beats undefeated Bama will jump the big 12 or big 10 champ.

agreed...no 1 loss team no matter who they have beaten is making it in this year. This year its Alabama vs Oregon or Alabama vs Florida St/Clemson

Maybe so. It seems that there are so many undefeated teams that LSU's chances at NC are very long. Its defense will be its undoing this year. How ironic.

no way...Ohio st doesn't have the schedule even if undefeated. It's Oregon vs X

If they do indeed run the table again, there's no way they don't make it. A blue blood program on a 25 game winning streak.

We are 11th in the coaches poll, need to pass 9 teams.

- we play 3 assuming we win out (and UGA does too). Down to 6

- Clemson and FSU play oct 18. Down to 5

- Oregon and Stanford play nov 7. Down to 4.

- Louisville down to 3.

- I'm callin the jump of OSU bc of their pathetically week schedule. Down to 2.

So the three teams potentially ahead of us are Oklahoma (which has to go to Baylor, host TTU, and closes at OSU, no championship game), the PAC 10 champ (probably in) and ACC champ.

We might need Florida or South Carolina to knock one of them off.
