Hispanic players not showing up to the white house after winning the world series
quote:

“It does worry me a lot that he could be elected president,’’ said San Francisco Giants infielder Ramiro Pena, a native of Monterrey, Mexico. “For the Latin community, I think it would make things more difficult when it comes to immigration, based on what he has said. The comments he has made about Mexicans worry you.’’

quote:

One Venezuelan veteran, who requested anonymity for fear of retribution, said of Trump: “If that guy wins, the United States is going to become like Venezuela under (President Nicolas) Maduro.’’

Regarding Venezuela and players;

Altuve who did show up;
quote:

Some on social media pointed out that Altuve did not shake Trump's hand at the ceremony's conclusion as Trump exchanged final pleasantries with players on the front row.

quote:

yeah like the liberal media would give a bunch of white MLB players the same coverage as they do black NFL and NBA players.....

They give it to the hispanic players instead.

Then you got this one... A Pro Trump Guy telling us that the the Liberal MLB is censoring him

so you found a few examples in one sport to back up your claim that it happens in every sport?

Once article dated Published 8:03 p.m. ET July 7, 2016 before Trump was even elected....nice reach

and another article written about tensions between the US and Venezuela that was written in 2017, has nothing to do with mixing the politics of the players and the politics of the nation

Nice reach though
quote:

While most Venezuelan players would seemingly not be affected by the ban, the language in it was vague enough, however, that MLB officials reached out to the U.S. government this week to make sure their players would be safe.

"MLB is aware of the travel ban that involves Venezuela and we have contacted the appropriate government officials to confirm that it will not have an effect on our players traveling to the U.S.," the league said in a statement.

dude, he was telling people that didnt agree with him to kill themselves.......he was very controversial in some other tweets

oh and.....

quote:

Bauer did not elaborate on how or why specifically he had been censored, and Major League Baseball has not yet commented on the accusation.

So we are supposed to believe he was being censored but cant tell us how or why?

I think that the MLB does a great job of not getting involved with politics because their ratings are falling.

It's become a dying sport among the younger male demographic.

Where as with football, where the players are more vocal, even in a year where "ratings fell" they still outshined any other sport int he country.

That said I ignore it from all ends.

I don't care for the kneeling, but it doesn't bother me to stop watching the game.

They could do whatever the frick they want. The only people that complain about it are the ones that look for it.

Now days it's pretty easy to monitor what you see. If you don't like something on your feed... Block it or dont follow it.

Not like theres only one source for information

which is still true at this point.

That said, hasn't soccer started to gain more people playing than baseball for a certain demographic?

Do other sports not honor any of the things you mentioned?
a few guys kneel, but does the sport itself not honor?

Yet doesn't know how to market him. Mike Trout is equal in popularity to Kenneth Faried.
