Because Spieth wouldn't blow away the field

Just because Phil will never win another thing in his life doesn't mean you have to hate Jordan

I keep thinking it's a good time to back Patrick Rodgers once in a while, he fails every time. Great game, soft mentally.

I'll give Speith credit. He had the guts to face the media.

I can think of one golfer who I was surprised to learn today that he never won the LA Open would have said F*&K YOU!!

Who, Tiger?

He's earned that right as the second greatest golfer of all time.

No need to get upset because Jordan Spieth is almost in dead last.

Sorry about your hero.

My hero is Todd Walker.

And don't be sorry. He's still better than Phil who can't play two weeks in a row in the same state because his prostate starts acting up

Only thing he's blowin' out is his confidence right now. His bread and butter is failing him right now.

I've always had concerns about Spieth being putter-dependent. Rose, Bubba, and DJ can bomb and wedge their way to good scores every week. Putter gets hot and they win a trophy. Spieth needs his putter to be hot.

Phil is probably going to win the Masters this year. His game is sharp right now, and he plays great at Augusta.

spieth finished ahead of all 3 in proximity to the hole last year, despite finishing behind in distance ... and ahead of rose and dj in gir ... he's a lot more than just a hot putter ...

Bubba has also been playing well. It's obviously a big advantage to be left-handed at Augusta.

I'd say there's about a 30% chance that either Phil or Bubba wins, which is pretty high.

He can't putt right now.

That's his biggest advantage at the Masters, because it's so much about putting. Being a bomber isn't a huge advantage there, IMO.
