My favorite response to a Miller comment came from Haney when he was Tiger's coach. Miller made some absurd comment about what Tiger needed to do, and Haney said something to the effect of "Johnny has no idea what it's like to be that good."

Jonnys best was better than anyone's best. Truth hurts.

Being good for a couple weeks doesn't mean you had the best. Jimmy walker got hot in the silly season. Miller got the yips

Absurd. Walker is going to be good for a long time. He hits it high, far and straight and can putt the frick out the ball.

Not a whole lot you can do during the winter where grass goes nearly completely dormant and often times fully dormant. Just the way it is. Grass isn't recovering from traffic and divots at all.
Orlandos growing season is basically year round.
I personally think dormant bermuda can make great fairway and greens surfaces. Just doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Gotta be dry though. Any rain and dormant bermuda gets sloppy. The grass isn't growing so it's not using much water and not absorbing as much as it would in optimal growing conditions.

I just wish BR courses would read up on overseeding.

LaTour over seeded tees. They used to do everything. It plays better now imho

One of the coolest stories ever, bro.
This jimmy walker baw looks like he made his time with Butch pay off.
Calm, cool, collected.
He nukes that Titlelist 915 too. Lots of torque packed into such a small frame.

Id argue against overseeing besides the range and par 3 (plus any short holes that have a lot of irons off the tee) tees.
Seed is expensive. Additional labor during non-peak season for mowing the rye is expensive.
It's not too smart agronomically either. Delays spring green up and can weaken turf.
Not to say it's not smart for any courses and that it can't be done. Just my two cents. Over seeding looks and often plays great. But lotta courses just can't afford it.

I know what you're saying. I played at a brand new jack Nicholas course last month in mexico and it will probably be the nicest course I ever play on much less walk on, besides augusta, unless I shell out the money to play pebble beach one day.

Go get that driver fixed mike, please.

Overseeding can really hurt early spring. To the point where it almost isn't playable. Takes a ton of money to seed and keep up with it late in the winter.

Patience, please. Heading up there around 11
