Front squat is basically finishing a clean. I highly doubt he can do 375.

I never did big weight front squatting. I don't think you're supposed to really.
225# was the most I ever did. But yeah, if he's holding 375 on his shoulders like that, congrats on the roids I guess.

that is what I thought. doesn't seem smart to even try to max on something like that. I don't ever truly "max" on anything. you just asking for an injury. if I can't get at least 3 reps at a weight with perfect form, then I'm not attempting it. so dumb

Hell we used to do a 6 rep max in high school. 1 rep max is too dangerous.

i have been using strong lifts 5x5 app for a couple months but its getting old. I need something new this yr? I also looked at the workouts laron landry does 100 reps per muscle group but you have to be taking some juice to do those

I don't count reps. I do the old Dorian Yates thing where I just go to failure with good form with whatever I'm doing.
Also, for you younger folks, ole man strength is real. Can't really explain it, but I'm like a silver back these days. The me now would eviscerate the me at 23.

Putt, you don't want to start lifting now. Do stretching and work with the tension bands. Think Pitcher not Defensive Lineman for your workouts.
