I normally play an interlock grip, and tried the overlap for a little while, but it doesn't feel right.
changes always feel different. also, feel isn't real.

That exact advice ruined my driver for a few months

Moved it just inside my front foot and I've been killing it

Even with front foot caused me to hook it

I have one, but it seems like I short side myself far too much with it.

I sometimes use and 8 or 9 and "putt" the ball up close. My short game is probably my best work. If I could eliminate chunking a chip once or twice a round, I would tremendously help my score.

#3 at MSU is a pretty short par 5. Last few times I've hit driver to fair way, blasted a 3iron to about 15/20 yards the green. I think proceed to chunk the ball once or twice and screw the hole up. That leads to frustration and then more bad shots.

Same here. It's damn near in the middle of my stance now with my driver set to open. Killing it down the middle.

Yeah I probably need to move the ball back a little on the drive and see what happens. I think it's too far out front.

I feel much more confident in flying it to a spot and either getting it to check or roll out depending on the circumstances. I will usually only use 9 or pw when I'm pretty close to the pin but can't use my putter

So too far back in the stance = slice, too far forward = hook?

I have gotten better with my 60. I like flying the ball to the hole for some reason. Have finally been able to make the ball check up. Finally starting to chip like I did last summer.

For me, if I get it too far out front I will slice it. Really don't hook it unless I close my stance and keep my lower body still.

To get the most out of the driver you need to hit up on the ball (which is different than an iron swing), putting the ball forward in the stanct will help promote that.

I usually place the ball right at the inside of the left foot for driver. I still slice it though

I think I'm screwing myself with ball selection too. I was smoking some cheap slazengers I got at dicks. They wouldn't stick a green for nothing though. So I switched to a Bridgestone E6, and NXT tour. I can tell the NXT has more spin than the E6. I might need to just stay with the E6 as a good in-between ball.

I am using e6 as well. I need as little spin as possible haha

Are you using the ones in the new or old box designs? I heard the ones in the new box play a little different.
