ive been there as well.
My first work tournament ever played at my last job was a 4mans scramble. i was with another friend from work and two clients of our company. i won the long drive and a cloest to hole, and he won the other closest to hole. we also won 1st place. my total payout for LD, CTH, and 1st place was $100 of club house gift certificate(s).
they then gave away multiple clubs/bags/expensive balls as door prizes.
also played in another tourney where we won. But by the time our awards ceremony ended the club house had closed, at 6effing:30. got jobbed on that one. never went back to use my gift certificate.

I'd rather not search this thread, but are there any good free videos out there that can help me with the swing fundamentals? I play golf maybe 3 times a year and its extremely frustrating for me outside of a few shots here and there. If not, can someone recommend a good Pro for a lesson or two? Thanks fellas
