Let us know what you think. Can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on that or the 910/913.

I have the first two rounds of a 4 round fourball this Friday. My teammate and I are essentially the same player. We can both be really on and we can both be really off. Just hoping to avoid the latter. Have no desire to make the championship flight, but if we get in the first or 2nd we should make a good run. If not, it's fun competing for the first time since last summer.

Side note, I will be in orlando exactly 1 month from today. Have looked at golfwrx and golfnow to get recommendations, but like hearing first hand experiences. Any advice for Orlando golf from you guys?

I was once Rock Bottom Golf's monthly (or maybe weekly) email list winner. I thought I was gonna get something pretty sweet, but I got a head cover, a big bag of tees, and a crappy divot repair tool.

I have never even been that lucky. I ALWAYS get the worst prizes in scrambles. Ill win long drive and get a $25 gift cert. to Belk while the person who wins closest to the hole wins a $300 driver.

I played in a scramble and we won. The winners won a set of golf clubs. Awesome, right? No, They were some cheap shite clubs. I looked them up online and an entire set was $45. Also this was a tournament where they gave prizes to the top 12 teams and the 11th place team all got Footjoys and the 12th place got ProV1s

I have a group of friends who won the Arena Bowl scramble at TPC a few years ago. Won a set of Adams clubs and a round at Fallen Oak in Biloxi. One guy won the long drive and got a gps and another guy hit a hole in one and won a car.

The arena bowl gives out good shite. We won that scramble when it was at stone bridge many years ago. We each won a set of Taylor Made irons and a two night stay at the Hilton downtown

Eta: I have also made a hole in one in a tournament and won a rain cover for my golf bag

Rain cover for hole in one? That's some shite luck. Probably barely covered the cost of drinks you had to buy.

Pisses me off just reading that.

Why, if you just WON a golf tournament, would you need a new set of clubs?

I've never won anything from a tourney that I can recall

I just have horrible luck and not very long drives.

I left a tournament that I was playing in with my dad last year and gave him my raffle ticket. We don't remember who had each ticket, but one of them won him a 54" TV.

I played in a scramble last spring that was advertising giving away 2 32" LCD TVs b/c the one in my bedroom quit working the week before.

1 hole was set up where you pay $5 to try and hit it closer than the "local pro", who happened to be one of my buddies. Well you could hit at many as you wanted but had to pay $5 each time. I paid $10 and hit 2 closer than him. To win the tv, your name went in a drawing. There were probably about 20 or so people that were in the drawing and the guy that won it WASN'T EVEN PLAYING IN THE frickING TOURNAMENT! He just wanted to try and win the tv so they said he could pay $5 and hit a ball.

Later in that round they had a hole that had about an 6-8 foot circle around the hole. If you hit in inside of the circle then you went in a drawing for another TV. This is what I did..

Well 1 other person hit it inside the circle that day so I had a 50% of winning the tv. Lose.

Only thing I've won from a scramble is a nice last place plaque.

My dad signed me up for the local Bama alumni event as a single. No other singles signed up. So I was by myself until a local asst. superintendent jumped on with me cause he felt bad. I think we shot 1 over as a two man scramble.

Though talking with him kinda encouraged the idea I wanted to become a superintendent. So it's not all bad.

My dad is a retired superintendent. Not a bad gig except for all the bitching that people do.

He gets to play for free pretty much anywhere he goes, and he gets into all PGA tour events for free.
