Did Brady play defense?
Here is the breakdown of great QB's in their prime during Brady's time and their defense rankings
Brady - 7.67
Manning - 14.59
Rodgers - 14.55
Brees - 26.47
35+ players contribute to every win. The qb can have the biggest impact, but is at most 25%

I will say three things in defense of Belichick, even though I would agree that Brady was a bigger part of the overall success.
1. He did draft Brady.
2. He did stick with Brady early when Bledsoe returned.
3. 2000-2020 was right in the heart of Belichick’s prime age as a coach. He was in his 40s pre-Brady and 70s post-Brady.
The NFL has become such a QB-driven league that it’s difficult to win Super Bowls without a great one, and a head coach getting a great one is mostly luck. You have to be sitting with a high draft pick, have a diamond in the rough fall to you (like Brady), or be in position to pay an established star free agent that everyone already knows is a star. Coaches and general managers only have so much control over that.

They probably wouldnt have all six rings if they didnt cheat and the cheating was mostly Belichick.

This is a myth. Brady won super bowls with like 2 or 3 pro bowlers tops on his team and dante Hightower was the best player on D.
Brady played with TWICE as many pro-bowlers than Peyton Manning. That’s an actual fact. I don’t know where the myth started that Brady didn’t have pro-bowlers. The dude holds the record for most pro-bowl teammates in history,

he could of won super bowls for plenty of coaches.
Just so you know, it’s not “could of” ;
It’s “could’ve” or “could have”.
“could of” makes no sense.

An average to good QB being carried by his defense
I don’t know any serious sports fans who will say Brady was great when he came into the league.
Example:
His final EIGHT games of the 2001 season
3 TDS
6 INTS
He had ONE TD in the playoffs
And they won the SB because the defense shut down the Greatest Show of Turf
MUH BRADY!
We were talking about the SB against the Panthers. Try and keep up.

Agree with all that. But mostly just want to post and say Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season. Ever.
