Highly underappreciated point guard with flash and style still not seen in todays game. Amazing handles and charisma on the floor.

Horrible disciple and attitude while young and a turnover machine. Could have been better than he was.

After leading his High School squad (that featured Randy Moss mind you) to the state title game his senior season he enrolled at Marshall (like Moss) to play for Billy Donovan. After Donovan became HC for Florida he transferred in 1996, sat out a year (96-97), then returned for 97-98 season. He played only 20 games due to disciplinary (weed) reasons. But here are a couple videos during Florida days.

Florida Mix Tape

Declaring for the NBA Draft after his lone season at Florida he was the 7th pick in the Draft to Sacramento Kings.

It's weird, I don't remember him at all when he was in Gainesville.
Those years between the 94 and 99 seasons are kind of a blur though.

That is correct, it was a total blur indeed. He redshirted his first year at Marshall. Had a decent freshman year at Marshall and then couldnt stay on the floor at Florida. He got benched for refusing to return to the huddle against Arkansas .

Mike Bibby was picked #2 in the 1998 draft and first point guard taken. Williams was second PG taken. Both were traded in 2000 or 01 I believe between Grizzlies and Kings. Great move by Kings brass at the time and not well received at first because of the love the Sac community had for White Chocolate.

Williams would later win a ring with Miami. Part of the Williams/Wade/Walker/Shaq team

That move he put on "The Glove" is one I will never forget.

The Glove was talking shite the whole pregame too. Was crossed up twice and left literally in the same spot he was in when it all started

I want to know who was on that Martinsburg team that beat Jason Williams and Randy Moss.

Unpopular Opinion Warning!

Dude was a turnover machine, with a shooting touch made of the finest brick.

Trolololol....

I already said he was a turnover machine and that he was undisciplined and even uncoachable and could have been way better.

He was exciting to watch and put on am excellent show.

He also won a championship as a starter for the heat and cut down on his turnovers bigly in Miami.

If you had Jason Williams and Randy Moss both reading me an audio book, it would take me a second to distinguish who was who.

The only real give away is there would probably be longer pauses before longer words with Jason compared to Randy.

They smoked a LOT of weed in high school and college. Likely took part in more power recreational drugs to boot.

I don't think they sound alike. They just sound like their voices should be switched. Jason Williams talks like a black dude from the neighborhood, Randy Moss sounds like a white country boy

Exactly. I love hearing Randy Moss talk. He sounds like a guy you would buy shiners from on the lake.

Didn’t he play in that LSU-UF game at the O Dome where DeJuan Collins hit that 40 footer to win it?

Someone I always tried to pattern my game after. So entertaining to watch. Could easily live with the turnovers with how beautiful his assists were. Very few, if any, players could set up his teammates for easier open looks than he did

Still one of my favorite mixes on Youtube:

His top 10 career plays video is sick as well. He made so many guys look absolutely foolish.

I think that was the point he was making. When you hear the two talk without seeing their faces, you have to think about it for a second because they sound like they should be switched up.
