Still 3-6 in the Finals though, 3 of those losses his teams were as good if not better than the opponent

2007 Spurs were clearly better than the Cavs. That was the biggest roster mismatch in Finals history.

2011 Heat were better than Mavs. This is the outlier.

2014 Spurs were light years better than the Heat.

2015 Warriors were better than the injured Cavs.

2017 and 2018 Warriors were way, way, way better than the Cavs.

Only once was he on the better team and lost.

I think you could argue 2014 he also had the better roster but those are the only two.

And his Cavs should have never beat the Warriors.

I seem to recall the 2014 Heat were 2x defending champs and tied the series 1-1 with 2 home games in Miami, couldn’t even win one. I considered 2017 almost a tossup entering that Finals (both teams lost a combined 1 game the entire postseason pre-Finals) and the Cavs possessed their core lineup with some veteran depth that convinced me it’d be another close series I mean LeBron’s still on the team doing LeBron things hahaha nope gentleman’s sweep.

Larry Bird went to the line and bricked two FT’s in the final minute of game 7 down 2 vs Detroit in the 1988 ECF.

To admit this is to admit that you know that Lebron is the greatest player of all time.

The Spurs played offensive basketball at a higher level than maybe any other team ever has during that series. They were on another planet, and Wade gave Miami nothing that year.

Replacing Harrison Barnes with Kevin Durant made them untouchable. Those rosters were not evenly matched at all. Love was unplayable against Golden State, which meant it was LeBron and Kyrie vs the best team ever assembled.

Uh, no one was close to the Durant Warriors when they were rolling.

That 2017 series, LeBron averaged 34, 12 and 10. He put up possibly the greatest individual finals ever and it did nothing.

In 2014, LeBron shot 58% and 52% from 3 on his way to 28, 8 and 4. They lost in 14 because Wade had 15 ppg on 43% shooting and Bosh only had 14 and 5 per game.

I readily acknowledge LeBron’s among the greatest ever to play the sport despite how much I dislike him currently, I know his skills, not that biased against him.

If you think the '17 Finals were a tossup, bias might not be your issue. LeBron and Kyrie both had incredible Finals performances, LeBron maybe the best individual performance ever, and they got blown off the court.

The '17 Warriors Finals performance is the best play I've seen from one team in a single series in my life. I'd lay money on that performance beating any other team in history in a max of 6 games.

I literally thought 2017 Finals was a tossup entering it, remember the Cavs-Warriors were 1-1 in regular season matchup, both teams lost a combined 1 game in the postseason to that point, and the depth of the Cavs supplementing Bron and Kyrie was impressive but conventional wisdom dictated to me Golden State was the pick and it worked out that way.

You should be embarrassed to say that out loud.
