Because they are extremely close friends. Why do you think he walked over to see Vitale in the first place?

You honestly think if there wasn't a scorer's table between them he was going to start swinging on one of his oldest friends? They were playing to the crowd.

I had no idea they were friends.

He was joking around. Look at Vitale's face and Knight's face after. They were playing around.

Not saying that they aren't.

I don't think an 80 year old man is about to start "swinging" on anybody.

So Knight strikes you as somebody who does things to play to the crowd? Ok.

Vitale's face looks like it always looks. He's a clueless cuck.

Nothing at all about Knights face said he was playing around. He yanked his arm off of him, tugged his arm, raised his other fist and looked pissed the entire time. How do you get playing around from that?

The smirk on his face right after before he starts chanting defense.

I used to live in Sarasota half of the year for business. I’ve met and spoken with Dicky V numerous times. They are extremely close. Knight is just a social misfit. That’s his way of kidding (very convincing).
Vitale was always really nice to me and great to talk to, but that was 20 years ago. He has gone off the rails lately.

Yeah y’all are insane if you think he wasn’t about to whip Vitale’s arse right there. Or at least wanted to

Them being good friends doesn’t change that

The smirk?

Ok. You are clearly just making up what you want to see. Carry on.
