The show was focused on the player he choked, rightfully so as that was the act that got the ball rolling to his termination, but the way he treated the women's b.ball HC and her team was almost as bad. They shared the basketball court, for a while anyway, and he treated her like shite. In front of her players. A class A prick.

Bob Knight is insufferable, even to people trying to be nice to him.

He couldn't even give Coach K his due when Coach K was loyal beyond fault.

There is something massively social and psychiatrically wrong with Knight.

It's amazing he got away with it for so long.

When he said if a woman is going to get raped, she should just relax and enjoy it...and then kept his job another 10 years is just bizarre.

Bear Bryant when he was at A&M. Even the mean cuss he was, he knew he went too far. He was racked with guilt over how he had treated the Junction Boys. They would throw him in jail for a long time if that happened today

Always hated Knight, even as a kid when I had no idea about anything. Also always hated Hayes for the same reason.

These are supposed to be "leaders" and they were such immaturly emotional pricks they couldn't even conduct themselves in a civil manner. They were enabled, a-hole gym teachers, nothing more, nothing less. They deserved what they got.

Every college basketball coach of the 50s-60s could qualify as the “meanest” coach ever, that was how shite was run those days and no one thought anything of it, was way more blue collar a context for America then than it is today, you earned your keep and accepted authority, there was a notion/attribute of pride and nobility attached to hard work that doesn’t exist today Bc progressivism and entitlement. Thank you LBJ for screwing shite up with the welfare state.

I never understood why recruits played for Bobby Knight. Yes...he won three titles but who would sign up to be emotionally abused by that SOB ?

Bob knight was never challenged by other coaches. He was a bully and nothing more. The man was psychologically unstable but school officials covered for him out of fear. The man was crazy. I just don’t get it.

You are goddammed right. I'll never forget that. Cost LSU a trip to the Final Four. a-hole gets called for a technical...then berates the NCAA rep at the table at midcourt and smashes the phone, yet got to stay in the game.

Meanest coach ever? Maybe.

Biggest dickhead ever? Absolutely

I’m no Knight fan and believe he’s got serious issues and overall think he’s probably a bad person.

With that said, I didn’t think the video was as bad as the documentary made it seem.

I mean, he put his hand around a player's throat and pushed him back with it. That's pretty damn bad. It was made worse by IU trying to cover up the fact that it ever happened.

see I was kind of with you until I watched this program . Neil kept quiet until Knight talked shite about Neil’s dad. That’s when Reed came out and others also. Reed was a nice guy , the toughest part was watching his mom talk about it. It takes a lot of hard work to get a D1 offer let alone Indiana basketball. He toolk a lot of abuse from that POS narcissist... you should really watch it, it’ll change your mind
