Warriors/Wolves in a possible 1st round matchup

No Curry, returning Jimmy Butler, thin GS bench (compared to recent years), and KD is rattled.
The Warriors advance? Fair enough, but it won't be a cakewalk.

Nothing would make me happier than to see those assholes go down in round 1

This year is more open than any other in a while. Rockets and Blazers have a good chance of coming out of the west and who knows what Cleveland will do.

Jimmy will be coming back soon that should keep them out of the 7 or 8. Remember this was the 3 seed when butler got hurt, they can beat anybody but CC and GSW. id expect them to beat anyone but Portland out of those other teams if Jimmy is at 100%. Portland would be a toss up.

Depends on butler's returned health. A 70% butler is still very good, but is he enough to make them better than Portland and Utah? GS and Houston would easily win, even a curry-less GS.
Sadly I don't think it's even a toss up with Portland or Utah, I think those two would outright win a series vs them. Wiggins needs to be shipped off this offseason.

Like I said before with butler they were number three offense in the nba and three seed. I’ve seen a massive overreaction that they are in bad shape when by all accounts they are ahead of schedule. I don’t think anyone picked them as three seed this year. But that’s where they were before the injury to their top dog.

I just need to know if the MSB will give the Clutch City championship an asterisk if this happens. I personally want the Warriors in the WCF. I think the Rockets can beat them, and I don't want to hear the bullshite if they can't even get to us, just like MJ in 95. Dude got knocked out of the playoffs, and people criticize the Rockets for that.

If golden state loses out before meeting up with CC it certainly would make the championship not even close to the level of one won by defeating warriors w healthy Steph. Crossing my fingers that Steph can get back and be himself. I don’t use asterisk personally, but a title when you beat warriors with no Steph(or avoid them) would be viewed like the one the cavs won V GSW. We’ll take it, but it wouldn’t be an all timer or anything like that.

The warriors have already said steph won't be 100% until after the post season. I believe his ankle is too messed up.

That is the truth, sorry bubba. if you beat a team without their two time MVP it is not the same as beating them when he is healthy. This is not debateable.

Boom. Shut up.
Boom: I rather face a healthy gsw in the wcf en route to a championship.
Every other Houston fan: give me the absolute easiest route to the finals

difference between someone who is a fan of competition at the highest level v someone who is only a fan of a specific team. I know I said it 5-10x at minimum but I am more a fan of competition than I am of any team.

You act like injuries don't affect the playoff picture every year. There is no mythical year where everyone's healthy and you can crown a champion that in no way benefited from injuries.

And you act like an injury to Steph fricking curry is the same as an injury to another player. And the only other rockets poster to post in the thread said he wanted warriors in WCF anyways. Can really tell what kinda people I am dealing with here who want the easiest route over the best route. Same ones who blame the refs when their squad loses.

Yet somehow, you constantly rail on the cavs for beating the warriors when all of their players were at least playing, while never mentioning that the warriors beat the cavs without love or irving playing.

You can use common basketball sense to see what injuries affects the outcome and which ones didn’t.

I just want to know how far we're going to go back to delegitimize titles. Do the Lakers have a illegitimate title in 1988 because Isiah Thomas turned an ankle in game 6?
