The same Hasselbeck that led Seattle to a Super Bowl??? The one who made 3 Pro-Bowls and 1 All-Pro????
Cousins has been no worse than RGIII so that means RGIII is a scrub as well by that logic.

They're scrubs.

Oh ok, so this has nothing to do about what happens on the football field but the color of skin. Got it, now continue....

The argument from shaft and bomani is pretty much the black scrub should start over the white scrub. It is a terrible argument to stand your ground over.

The Rams and the Ravens both had that argument once with Tony Banks
But he also has some Polynesian/Hawaiian in him.

I disagree. If you're mediocre and White you can be a CEO or even President of the U.S. or in this case hang around the NFL as a QB for around a decade and a half. That's privilege. Being mediocre and Black gets you? Not a damn thing. That's racism.
Exemplary people are just that exemplary and they are exceptions. My focus isn't on the the rarities but on the majority.

You most certainly can be worse than mediocre and be president of the US.

And, on top of that you rather pay RG3 $16 million to sit on the bench. Makes no sense.

What about Aaron Brooks?
Posted on 10/18/15 at 9:27 pm to Shaft Williams
They'd rather not pay him at all but nobody will trade for him at the price. NFL is a reclamation league for QB's. There's something out there about him that nobody but a select few knows about.

That's a frivolous assertion.

Last year they were the same QB... RGIII was at his best when ShanaHan ran his college offense his rookie year.

It isn't frivolous when nobody will bite on a trade. There's something out there, but who knows what it is.

No one us trading.for that 2nd overall fully guaranteed salary for what is probably a backup qb.
Hes worth a gamble but not at that price

Some would argue that we have a mediocre black President who was reelected. Unemployment was only down by 0.1 between January 2009 and November 2012 and he still won.
Regardless, the only way we can prove whether black quarterbacks are washed out quicker than white quarterbacks is through data. Ancedotally, yes QBs like Akili Smith and JaMarcus Russell were washed out quickly, but so were Tim Couch, Tim Tebow and Ryan Leaf. Ultimately you need data, not blank assertions.

Akili and Jamarcus didn't get as many opportunities as the White QBs you named especially Tebow.
