I’ll be honest. I forgot that Clemson existed for most of the time. So I tune in to watch the game tonight because k have absolutely nothing else going on in my life right now and bam. Clemson is #4.

WTF?

They will wake up, shake the rust off, and their defense will score 21

Their quarterback sure ain’t

Clemson will be fine defensively. I would be very concerned with this offense. It' early though

It's popular to pile on Uiagalelei, but Clemson's O-line ain't doing him many favors.

Against a hapless Georgia Tech team.

If they played a legit schedule, they wouldn't win 10 games. Their schedule is an absolute joke so they’ll probably finish in the Top 4 again.

This is the biggest drop off I can ever remember seeing between #3 and #4 (and every other team).

It's popular because it's deserved. He has no pocket presence, he stares down his receivers and throws flat footed like the statue that he is.

He should be way ahead with his development and it's becoming clear he's close to peaking.

DJU had the luxury last year of not having a legit threat to his job last year. Now he does.

Dabo's going to do DJU like he did with Kelly Bryant and give him 4 games to solidify his job.

He'll be in the portal by mid year if he doesn't vastly improve.

I see DJU as another Logan Thomas.

This was evident with 2:20 left in the game and Dabo is letting the new kid throw a TD from the 3. I see what Dabo is doing, but that was chickeshite as well. Take the knee or just run it up the gut.

it just felt more lively with klubnik in there. DJ is the cinder block that holds back the clemson offense.

however, there were multiple drops by clemson wrs last night that could have made DJ's night better.

but the flow is much better with klubnik and that's only with 1 drive as a sample.

their defense is especially fast though.

Clemson is going to get the benefit of the doubt from the voters until they completely fall off the face of the earth. 10-3 last season. "Bad" for a recent Clemson season. Alabama went 10-3 in 2010 and was right back at #2 to start 2011.

It's obviously too early to anoint anyone this early in the year. However, it seems somewhat easy to say 1-3 make sense in some order (I would have the SEC teams at 1 and 2 but OSU's defensive improvement is good if they want to be there in December/January).

After that, I really have no idea. Clemson can be #4 but almost by default at this point.

If I ask you who are 4-8 today, you could probably throw 10 teams out there and I'd be fine with it

Clemson
OU
Baylor
Michigan
A&M
USC?
Florida?
ND?
Miami?

I really have no fing idea. All those teams are in the top 15 right?

I'm hesitant to say anything bad about DJU because he'll end up throwing for 400 on Adam Fuller's defense, but if DJ were a 3 star in high school would he still be playing? At this point it seems clear he just isn't a good QB. He's just a big kid with a big arm that can't do all the other things a QB does

I will be betting against Clemson, FSU, and KU every week of this season in-conference, regardless of the spread.

Oh you know, the usual suspects... That the MSB pretends is a tough schedule...

Oregon
Samford
South Carolina
Kent State
Missouri
Auburn
Vanderbilt
Florida
Tennessee
Mississippi State
Kentucky
Georgia Tech

Talk about a team waltzing into the playoffs.

They looked very similar to UGAs start of last year. Average to bad on offense. Dominating on defense.

As of this week, I have Georgia at 1. And a few notches down to next group.

Georgia prison raped Alabama, and are just as good as last season
