Looks like Natural Selection to me. Don't get out of your car on a race track. That's probably high up in the safety handbook.

OK. When I went to bed last night people here were saying he was 17.
Good to know not that it makes the situation any better.

You're saying that anyone else would get charged, convicted and do jail time, but Stewart won't because he's a Nascar driver?
That's ridiculous.
That's ridiculous.

even if Tony did rev his engine to try intimidate him as people are claiming I state again..
That is still negligent homicide, imo. By TS revving his engine, he caused the back end of the car to swing out, clip and kill the guy. Intentional or not, he caused this person's death.

It was his car that revved. He was out of control when he hit the other driver. His car was wobbling and washing up the track. None of the other cars behaved the way that his did. Like I've said before... Stewart is one of the best race car drivers on the planet, how is he not in control of his racecar under caution?

Surely with videos and enough fans as witnesses he could be charged

the whole time watching the video I am wondering WTF was he thinking.

Doubt we will ever see that footage.

ESPN said he plans on racing today.
No way should he be racing today.
I just dont know how he could. I would not be able to. Id still be a mess from taking someones life. Intentional or not.

You don't know what revving an engine is.

By TS revving his engine

Per Ricky Craven on ESPN, he stated Tony is distraught and heartbroken, but plans on racing today.

I agree. So will a Grand Jury...but still doubt "we" the general public will see it.

He can be charged with anything but convicting him will be another story.
People are forgetting the "beyond a reasonable doubt" part and unless there are much better videos, then it will be hard to prosecute him.
Race tracks are loud as hell. There is no way to 100% prove it was TS that revved up. Any decent attorney will squash that real quick.
Then his attorney will make sure to point out that Ward was chasing Tony's car down which is 100% shown in the video. That will also cast doubt on any charges.
It will be VERY hard to prosecute this unless there is a ton more evidence that comes out which there very well may be.

Bingo
Hope no charges are filed ever against TS and I've always hated that guy.

I don't doubt his report. I doubt Tony's sanity.

You're a fool not to believe that was him.
But it doesn't matter. Once all evidence is gathered and analyzed, they will be able to determine if it was in fact him.
