There has to be more to the story of him being disrespectful but that is a crappy way to get cut if he didn’t cross the line lol.

He explains in the video that the person serving him told them they can only get Chicken Salad and then asked “is that going to be a problem” and he said yes and walked away (his version of events of course)

Coach says in a cut away that they have a line about disrespecting any facility members/internal staff and that’s why he’s being cut

Not as flashy as the headline, depends on what actually went down, this is either a wild overreaction or just a pretty simple don’t be a dick when the margin for error is zero

I saw this on United by Football and wondered what really happened. They never said exactly what it was.

Looks like the decision to cut was made before even getting the player's side, so it had to be pretty bad, you'd think.

I’m surprised the USFL is showing the players getting cut given Hard Knocks had to cut that out because eventually everyone kind of turned on the idea of the whole thing.

Also possible that this coach is just trying to prove a point or doesn’t want to look weak or doesn’t care to hear the argument. I think we’ve all had hard arse coaches that wouldn’t care if you were bleeding out on the side of the road, they would still make you run for missing practice

Not enough info to really tell tho

They probably wanted to cut him anyway and decided to use it as a teaching moment for the rest of the team.

Yeah I have no doubt they wanted to cut him regardless of the incident or atleast aren’t hurting without him

Guessing the starting QB isn’t getting cut for this, all about your value

The Generals also cut their #1 draft pick. It wasn't on camera, but they showed a clip of him getting chewed out at practice for missing a read to a shot of the coach saying they had to move on to another QB.

with your headers and links I think you'd be a great addition to the National Enquirer.

Reminds me of the story about Jimmy Johnson cutting a special teams player for falling asleep in a meeting. When the player asked if he would do if Troy Aikman he fell asleep in a meeting and Jimmy Johnson said "I would send someone to go get him a pillow and a blanket."
