I’m happy for the Falcons fans.

It probably was OPI but that will never be called in that situation. Saints fricked themselves enough for that to have never come into play

Most saints fans aren't even crying about this call. I see more posts about it here from falcons fans than anything else.

This. I can’t imagine caring about a Falcons playoff game

I thought it was probably OPI, but not enough to think we were screwed.
But the entire idea of the rule was to be able to review plays like this in huge playoff spots, and not reviewing something so close makes no sense, and just opens the NFL up for more criticism.
Maybe that's contradictory on my part but that's my take.

The saints board after a loss is a cesspool of random posters who only drop in to melt then disappear the next day.
Anyone continuing to cry about that no call after today is a moron. Drew lost it.

Actually yea. Saints talk is awful on gameday win or lose.
To the point of this thread, I do think it was OPI but I have no real problem with it not being called. As long as they’re consistent with letting them play like that, which of course they aren’t.

he got an advantage by pushing off. A clear and obvious advantage. It was PI and should have been called.

That's my problem with no call.
It created a definite advantage on the catch. It is the epitome of why the rule is in place.

According to the home office they felt thet did see it for long enough to make the call.

If what MT13 did against the 49ers was OPI, then this absolutely was.

Judging by last years NFC Champ Game he would be correct
frick Roger and his refs
frick Roger and his refs

That isn’t what Dungy and Rodney Harrison said. And Rodney knows a little bit about pass defense
Posted on 1/5/20 at 7:49 pm to Indfanfromcol
Saints had ample opportunity to win, but if a receiver pushing a defender away from him with his arm fully extended into his chest isn't OPI, then OPI doesn't exist.

Riveron was the one making the call. Of course he said they didn’t miss it. He said the same thing after the Seahawk vs 49er game and then the league told Pete Carrol something different.
